Celebrating Over 30 Years Serving Charlottetown's Youth!
Boys and Girls Club of Charlottetown is a community-based, charitable organization dedicated to meeting the needs of over 1000 young people through a variety of quality, structured educational, remedial, and recreational programs. The Boys and Girls Club of Charlottetown provides a safe environment and place to belong for all children and youth.
Boys and Girls Club of Charlottetown, a member of Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada, was established in 1983 to address the need for a wide range of programs and services to assist in the healthy development of youth in the Charlottetown area. The Club relies on the tireless efforts of numerous volunteers and programming staff, supported by a local board of directors, to provide quality programs to children and youth.
Our Role in the Community
In our community, there are many children left to find their own recreation and friendships in the streets. In addition, there are an increasing number of children spending too many hours alone with little adult care or supervision. We think it is important children know there are people in the community that care about them. Through day camps and after school programs, we provide fun, safe activities and a healthy place to make new friends. Our supportive staff provides a supervised atmosphere and offer positive role modeling.
